About

I am a strategy advisor and investor for early stage entrepreneurs, helping founders make informed and intentional decisions. Inspired by my successful 20+ year entrepreneurial journey, commercializing hundreds of techs from NASA, Army, and university labs, I help founders be better.

I’ve served as Board Advisor and mentor to numerous organizations spanning academia, startups, healthcare organizations, and nonprofits, bringing deep expertise in the understanding of complex technologies across all industry sectors to drive market acceptance and success for my clients and partners. As the founder of IVT, a woman-owned small business, I’ve won and led multiple government contracts and served as a Connector supporting the Department of Energy’s American-Made Challenges – a program that fast tracks innovations. My commitment to bettering the patient and caregiver experience resulted in me serving as leader of Patient Advisory Councils (both the health system and oncology) for a decade at Duke University Hospitals. I have expertise across a broad range of key areas, including intellectual property management, licensing, and negotiation; go-to-market strategy; process optimization and efficiency; and translation of technologies for effective communications. I am grateful to have been recognized with excellence awards from NASA, Duke, Women in Business, and Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association. My volunteer efforts focus on the entrepreneurial ecosystem, with a special focus on supporting women and underrepresented founders.
